The joint-friendly dog mat is a perfect flooring to design attractive surfaces for dogs - in a hall or outdoors, as a run or a training site. The single tiles can be simply laid on a bound or latticed base course and connected to each other building a continuous tile carpet. That's why the dogs are not able to lift the tiles. The dogs love the anti-skid, slip-resistant and paw-friendly dog mats, because they let them comfortably lie and snooze, as well as do some agile, sporty movement. Obviously the dog mat is durable, robust and carefree.

Artificial grass green

The green colour hue chosen for the green artificial grass makes the lawn look naturally. It's based on the RAL 6011, Reseda green. The artificial grass fibres are fully imbued, so that they retain their pleasant, green colour also if it's used intensively.

Material

The tile has a two-layer structure. The artificial lawn mat in the professional Multiplay quality builds the wear and visible layer. In the manufacturing process, it was drawn over a base plate made of rubber granulate. The rubber granulate of the base plate is obtained from discarded tyres and primarily consists in a high-quality mix of natural rubber (NR) and Styrene-Butadiene Rubber (SBR).

Concealed interlocking puzzle system with bevelling

The edges of the tiles are designed with a stepped rabbet and integrated puzzle interlocking system. Two sides of each tile have a positive interlocking profile, while the other two sides have a precisely matching negative profile. This puzzle interlocking system ensures a durable and stable connection between adjacent tiles during installation. Concealed within the stepped rabbet, the joint system remains invisible in the finished surface. The result is a classic, right-angled, chessboard-like joint pattern.

Structure of the underside

Drainage channels and domes arranged in a square pattern

The base of the tile has a structure with drainage channels approximately 4 mm deep. These channels connect with those of adjacent tiles to form a continuous network. Large dome-shaped depressions, approximately 15 mm deep, are incorporated into the square sections between the drainage channels. These depressions improve the weather resistance, dimensional stability and damping properties of the tile. The tiles can be installed over a bonded base course, roofing membrane or plastic grass grid. It is important to follow the installation instructions.

In individual cases, it can be tested on-site on a material sample if the chosen material has a compression strength sufficient for the desired application.
